Account information (only if you sign in): your email address and display name, handled through Google Firebase Authentication when you choose to sign in with email or with Google. You can also use the app in Guest mode without an account.
Vehicle & driving data: readings from your OBD-II adapter (such as engine RPM, speed, temperatures, fuel readings), your trips, vehicle profile, and maintenance records. This information is processed and stored on your device.
Anonymous usage statistics (optional, OFF by default): if you turn on “Share anonymous statistics” in Account, the app may send de-identified vehicle/usage statistics tied only to a random app-generated ID. This contains no email, no name, and no location, and you can turn it off at any time.

To provide the core features: live dashboard, fuel-economy estimates, trip history, and maintenance tracking.
To sign you in and keep your profile available across sessions (only if you create an account).
If you opt in, to understand aggregate, anonymous usage so we can improve the app.

Your vehicle, trip, and maintenance data stay on your device. We do not upload them, except the optional anonymous statistics described above (only if you opt in).
We use Google Firebase (Authentication and, for opted-in anonymous statistics, Cloud Firestore) as our service provider. Their handling of data is governed by the Firebase Privacy and Security and Google Privacy Policy.
Data sent to our services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

Anonymous statistics: opt in or out anytime in Account › Data.
Account deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (below). You may also clear local data by uninstalling the app.
Guest mode: use the app without providing any personal information.
